Quality Management (QM)/Practice Resource Planning (PRP) Software

Quality Management (QM) is a method for ensuring that all the activities necessary to plan, develop and implement a (healthcare) service are effective and efficient with respect to the system and its performance. In a healthcare environment QM is key for the future with more and more complex requirements and workflows.

PRP stands for Practice Resource Planning (HRP= Hospital Resource Planning). PRP/HRP systems typically attempt to cover all basic functions of a healthcare organization, regardless of the organization’s specialty and focus. Hospitals, clinics, ophthalmic offices, non-profit organizations, non-governmental and governmental organizations and other large entities in eye care utilize PRP/HRP systems.

Sophisticated software applications in the area of Quality Management (QM) and Practice Resource Planning/Hospital Resource Planning have been developed by ifa systems AG.

The QM software supports certification and accreditation processes and allows the introduction of an individual or standardized concepts (e.g. ISO 900X).
